JavaScript Job: Frontend Engineer

Overview

Trellis, an AI-powered education company, is seeking a highly experienced and product-minded Frontend Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a Frontend Engineer at Trellis, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing user-friendly interfaces for our web application (and potentially mobile apps), working closely with our design, product, and engineering teams to create an exceptional user experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement user-friendly interfaces for our web applications
• Collaborate with our design, product, and engineering teams to create an exceptional user experience
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
• Ability to translate design wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
